Keihanna Science City supports venture and start-up companies that are responsible for the next generation and take on challenges in new fields, and is creating a system aimed at becoming a PoC-friendly city.
PoC means “concept implementation”. It refers to experimenting to see if an idea for a new service or product is “feasible.”
Keihanna Science City takes advantage of being a “knowledge cluster” where many research institutes, universities, companies, etc.

We are undertaking initiatives such as:
Keihanna Plaza’s “Laboratory Building” provides space that can be used for physical and chemical research experiments and offices, promoting the development of venture companies.
No matter how advanced the development of cutting-edge technology is, if there is no place for empirical research and implementation, there will be no opportunity for it to flourish.
Festival 3 “Startup” will showcase the results of startup companies currently active in Keihanna Science City.
Scheduled event
The concept of the Osaka/Kansai Expo is “People’s Living Lab” (a testing ground for future society). The Keihanna Expo, which will be held simultaneously and jointly with Osaka, has a responsibility as a “post-Expo City,” providing a place to inherit the experimental results developed by pioneers and implement them in society.
We will show you the gorgeous stage at Yumeshima, Osaka, and behind the scenes at the Keihanna Expo.
