Well-being refers to happiness and a fulfilling state of life.
Using “health,” “food,” “environment,” and “mind” as key themes, we created opportunities for visitors to explore and experience solutions to today’s social challenges through the power of science, technology, and culture.

As part of the “MBT Campaign to Overcome Intractable Diseases,” promoted through collaboration between the MBT (Medicine-Based Town) Consortium and Nara Medical University, selected works from the MBT “Protecting Life Together” Film Festival were screened at Keihanna Expo 2025.Under the theme of “Protecting Life Together,” a talk session was held featuring Hiroyuki Yamamoto, former Kansai TV announcer; President Hosoi of Nara Medical University; Reverend Hōin Yamada, Elder Priest of Yakushiji Temple; and Kizugawa City Mayor Taniguchi.

Saturdays and Sundays from May 31 to June 22, and June 13 (Fri)
Venue: Keihanna Plaza Atrium
A metaverse space was projected onto a temporary screen installed in the atrium, allowing visitors to experience the atmosphere of a tea gathering. Visitors could also enjoy the feeling of an outdoor tea ceremony at the summit of Mt. Fuji.
A real matcha experience was also offered by Fukujuen Co., Ltd. together with serving robots. - Well-being Festival Networking Reception

June 13: Networking Reception
- Held as an opportunity for people from a wide range of fields connected to Keihanna Science City to meet and exchange ideas, taking the Keihanna Expo as a starting point.
- 77 participants from more than 30 institutions and organizations attended.
- Various food and beverage items, including craft beer, sours, and sake, were provided by members of the Food Tech Platform.
- Food providers were introduced, along with presentations by ATR Vice President Suzuki and introductions to self-luminous plants, Bichiku-shoku, and other initiatives.






The Well-being Festival, held from May 31 to June 22 with the three main event days from June 13 to 15, concluded successfully and without incident.
Approximately 5,000 people attended during the three main event days. Including meta CHA and Robo-Café before and after the main event, the total number of participants reached approximately 5,800.
During this period, nearly 90 people supported the operation of the festival, especially over the three main event days. We are deeply grateful for everyone’s cooperation, which made this event possible.
