Competing in Daily Life
At Keihanna Expo Festival #1, we will open a new chapter in the coexistence of humans and robots through events focused on Robotics, Avatars, and ICT (Information and Communication Technology), which have been the subject of extensive research, particularly in the Keihanna region.
In the May festival, avatar robots will take part in a joyful parade accompanied by brass band music before competing in a grand sports event.
Rock-paper-scissors, Jizo Bon Festival, shopping, slalom, mountain climbing—these daily life scenes will be transformed into competitions where people can play, walk, and shop together with remotely operated robots controlled by friends and family from afar.
Additionally, performances featuring remotely controlled drones and interactive attractions using XR technology will allow visitors to experience the fusion of virtual and real worlds, showcasing a glimpse of futuristic living where technology and creativity merge.
Join us in Keihanna, a city that enables anyone, anytime, anywhere to harness technology freely, breaking the barriers of time and space to embark on creative challenges.
