Using the event area of the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, this event was held for the general public as an opportunity to introduce Keihanna as an area that offers solutions to various challenges facing humanity through the power of science, technology, and culture, while also encouraging the next generation to develop an interest in science, technology, and culture.

Event Overview: Quiz Rally
Led primarily by students, a quiz rally related to the hands-on exhibitions was held. Participants were also invited to write comments on “messages for future society,” and their comments were displayed on digital signage at the venue.

Event Overview: Workshops
Workshops were held with the cooperation of five companies and organizations based in Keihanna, including companies, research institutions, and local governments. Through chemical experiments and interaction with robots and avatars, visitors were able to experience Keihanna’s strengths, history, and culture.

Mascot Character Greetings
Greeting times were set for five mascot characters: Mozuyan from Osaka Prefecture, Mayumaro from Kyoto Prefecture, Sento-kun from Nara Prefecture, Photon-kun from the National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology, and Myaku-Myaku, the official character of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. These appearances helped energize the venue and attract visitors.

Event Publicity
- Flyers for the event were prepared and distributed primarily by the Wide-Area Collaboration Subcommittee to promote the event. A special website was also set up on the Keihanna Expo website to introduce the exhibition content in detail.
- Scenes from the April 23 event were filmed and posted on the Keihanna Expo website and the official YouTube channel of the Kansai Research Institute. The footage was also used to promote the September 19 event.
The event was promoted through media and communication channels managed by members of the Wide-Area Collaboration Subcommittee and exhibitors, helping residents of the Keihanna area learn that Keihanna-related events would be held at the Expo site.

Event Overview: Raising Awareness of the Keihanna Area
Keihanna Expo banners and panels were displayed inside the venue, and videos introducing the appeal of Keihanna were shown to promote the Keihanna area. In addition, stamps were placed both at the Yumeshima Expo site and in the Keihanna area to encourage collaboration with other events held in Keihanna.

Event Summary: Voices from Visitors and Exhibitors
A survey was conducted among approximately 1,000 visitors on September 19. More than 90% responded that they would “definitely like to visit Keihanna” or “would like to visit if they have the opportunity.”
- I would like to stop by if events are held on-site as well.
- Although the exhibition was compact, I thought the content was excellent. Please keep up the good work.
- The quiz rally, which involved interacting with people, was stimulating. The content was also very good. I would be happy if diagnosis through sweat could be put into practical use.
- Seeing young people take on many different challenges made me excited for the future.
